20 years of intimate experience in the crafts of stained glass and mosaic art
I studied stained glass in the Bay Area of California where I joyfully worked in all aspects of the industry. I was trained initially at The Stained Glass Garden in Berkeley, where I worked under glass artists at the top of their field. Over the years there, I taught courses in many techniques of stained glass and mosaic art, built commissioned works, and performed restorations, from small lampshades to large church windows. I eventually worked at The Institute of Mosaic Art in Oakland, that was then owned and directed by globabally known mosaic artist, Laurel True.
After returning to the East Coast (glass tools in tow), I landed in Vermont, married and became a mother. Currently, we are living on our land in our handmade, off grid home in the woods, where I garden and create and teach glass art workshops.
