Join Monthly Mosaic Art for Kids aged 6-12years.. Ā We will study a Mosaic technique through hands on creation of mosaic art.Ā
It Ā is said that Mosaic Art is a great way for kids to learn about shapes Ā and how they fit together. They work with patterns and practice fine Ā motor skills through the use of their imaginations and decision making. Ā Ā Mosaic is a very free form of art. The rules beyond what adhesive and base to use, are pretty minimal. Ā Ā It Ā is messy and colorful, textural, and lends itself to individuality. A Ā person tends to shine through in their finished piece. Their tendencies Ā towards organization or wildness show up in their work. Ā Ā AND they get to break stuff in a safe environment and it has been my experience that kids like that...a lot.
Students will complete a mosaic to be grouted by Dayna for later pick-up
