Kids Mosaic Lab- Drop ins!

Drop in during the hours of 10 and 1pm for Summer Mosaic Making at Day Breaks Glass Studio. Allow for an hour of work time. All sorts of base shapes available! Kids Ages 8-14 can come make a mini mosaic with colorful stained glass tile. Pick up your finished work within the following week.

It  is said that Mosaic Art is a great way for kids to learn about shapes  and how they fit together. They work with patterns and practice fine  motor skills through the use of their imaginations and decision making.   Mosaic is a very free form of art. The rules beyond what adhesive and base to use, are pretty minimal.   It  is messy and colorful, textural, and lends itself to individuality. A  person tends to shine through in their finished piece. Their tendencies  towards organization or wildness show up in their work.   AND they get to break…
