Mosaic Art for Homeschool

Do you home school your children? Would they like to learn about Mosaic Art? Would your 8-12 year olds like to come to the studio and make a work of art?

It  is said that Mosaic Art is a great way for kids to learn about shapes  and how they fit together. They work with patterns and practice fine  motor skills through the use of their imaginations and decision making Mosaic is a very free form of art. The rules beyond what adhesive and base to use, are pretty minimal.   It  is messy and colorful, textural, and lends itself to individuality. A  person tends to shine through in their finished piece. Their tendencies  towards organization or wildness show up in their work.   AND they get to break stuff in a safe environment and it has been my experience that kids like that...a lot.
