About the event
In this class students will learn to design and create beaded pieces of jewelry without the use of a torch. Using pliers to shape wire, we will make earrings, chains, and other wearable forms incorporating beads. This is a simple, secure way to add color and detail to a pair of earrings or a piece of chain without needing a flame. This technique can be used safely at home and allows students to create jewelry from scratch, or revamp old jewelry!
Elliot Papp grew up in Randolph, Vermont, studied jewelry and other 3D arts at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and has worked as an assistant at Day Breaks Glass Studio since September 2024. He has taught workshops and classes for many ages! This class is open to adults and children ages 12+.
