We welcome Hannah Mitchell to the Studio! Come learn the art of broom making! We will go step by step to create a cobwebber broom together. You will also learn basic woodworking skills for preparing and finish your broomstick. No experience necessary.

About the event
Come learn the art of broom making! We will go step by step to create a cobwebber broom together. You will also learn basic woodworking skills for preparing and finish your broomstick. No experience necessary. Sticks, tools and broom corn will be provided and you are also welcome to bring your own stick if you have a special one you would like to use. There are limited spots available so pre-registration is required. Cost is $65 and includes all materials.
Hannah Suriano is an artisan living in Brookfield, Vermont. In 2013 she attended the John C Campbell folk school in Brasstown, North Carolina earning a certificate in woodworking. She then started her small business selling wooden toys and later began making and selling brooms.
