In this one day introduction to Stained Glass, students will move through the techniques of selecting and cutting glass, learning the copper foil method, and soldering. Each student will create a glass sun-catcher to bring home with them and leave with a basic knowledge of the stained glass process.

About the event
In this one day introduction to Stained Glass, students will move through the techniques of selecting and cutting glass, learning the copper foil method, and soldering. Each student will create a glass sun-catcher to bring home with them and leave with a basic knowledge of the stained glass process. A selection of designs based on Shaker gift drawings and nature based patterns (flowers, garden herbs, feathers, etc) will be provided along with a variety of beautiful colorful glass to choose from.
