In this 2-day class, we will create a 8x8 Mosaic Artwork using various glass and ceramic tesserae. On Day-One we will learn about the tools, materials and basic process of mosaic art. Day-Two, we will grout. Students will leave with a completed wall hanging.

About the event
In this 2-day class, we will create an 8x8 Mosaic Artwork using various glass and ceramic tesserae. On Day-One (April 27th, 10-2pm) we will learn about the tools, materials and basic process of mosaic art. Day-Two (April 28th, 10-12pm) , we will grout.
Simple patterns will be provided or students can bring a pattern idea to be approved by the instructor. A variety of colorful glass will be provided along with all other materials and tools.
Students are encouraged to wear work clothes and close-toed shoes.
Students will leave with a completed mosaic wall hanging.
