About the event
In this 3-session workshop we will explore mosaic art through the creation of a beautiful mandala. A mandala is a circle decorated with imagery which directs the mind inward toward a deeper reflection of self or the universe. We will embrace the patterns found in nature as we allow our personal designs to flow and take shape. Through this deeper artistic process we also learn to work with glass and the tools and methods to cut and shape it into various patterns, specifically floral and plant like patterns. We will also complete your artworks with the grouting process.
Additional $65 Materials fee due to Instructor Day of.
Day One: March 22, 6-8PM Discussion & Design work
Day Two: March 23, 10-3PM Design layout and Tile work
Day Three: March 24, Grouting and Finish work
