SNOW DATE* Dec. 16 date cancelled* Butter Knives, Wooden Hooks, and Beads: Beginning Green Wood Carving

Enjoy  a very basic hands-on introduction to green wood carving. We will be  going over the grips and techniques, with attention to safety, for using  a small hatchet, straight knife, and a few other simple tools while you  endeavor to carve a butter knife, a wooden hook, and a few beads from  freshly harvested green wood. We will also explore some simple carving  decoration/embellishment tips to add to your creations. All tools and  materials will be provided.

There is a $10 materials fee to pay directly to the instructor on the day of class.
