Spring Mosaic Art for Kids

Bring in the spirit of Springtime with Mosaic Making at Day Breaks Glass Studio. Kids Ages 8-12 can choose a mini Spring themed wooden base to mosaic with colorful stained glass tile. Pick up your finished work within the following week.

It  is said that Mosaic Art is a great way for kids to learn about shapes  and how they fit together. They work with patterns and practice fine  motor skills through the use of their imaginations and decision making.   Mosaic is a very free form of art. The rules beyond what adhesive and base to use, are pretty minimal.   It  is messy and colorful, textural, and lends itself to individuality. A  person tends to shine through in their finished piece.
