After school Mosaics Club

Good Morning all,

I am at home awaiting on the arrival of some sunlight. The clouds are looking pretty thick but I see a little glimpse of blue peaking out.

I am home keeping the fire going. My cat is curled up next to me after being out all night.

I am prepping for a new round of middle school kids to come to the studio on Wednesday for After school Mosaics Club. Looks like a full session this year with a wait list! I love these kids and i love that the studio can be a place for them to have fun, feel safe and to be creative. This will mark my third year running an after school club through the middle school and the first year that one of my own kids is able to participate! As the advisor this round, I get to walk the group from the school to the studio.

We will explore mosaic art using various substrates, ceramic and stained glass tiles, cutting tools, and grout. We may even work on a mural project this year. I'll keep you posted.

This program is through White River Valley Middles School but I can schedule private parties for your group. Let me know if you are interested.
